Ann Riesberg
LMT, Owner, Clinical Therapist
Ann Riesberg is a board-certified licensed massage therapist, who was born and raised in Iowa. Ann attended La’ James International College in 2011 where she studied massage therapy. She continues her education centered around orthopedic massage modalities.
Ann started her career in small town Iowa and in 2013 her family sold their home. Selling their home gave them a great opportunity to move to Des Moines. She worked for a franchise for a while and knowing that she wanted to build her own business she moved on quickly. She opened her own private practice in 2014, and worked as a medical massage therapist at a chiropractic clinic. In spring of 2020 Ann joined Active Edge as an associate therapist, working hard and becoming partner-therapist in spring of 2021.
Ann loves spending time with her husband Jason, her son Jase and their two fur babies Jersey and Casper. They love going on walks and going on vacation. Their family attends Capitol Hill Lutheran Church in Des Moines, where Ann serves on Church council.
While in high school, Ann achieved her Silver and Gold Awards, the two highest awards in Girl Scouts. To earn these awards her leadership had to be shown through community service.
Ann continues her community service when she can through the Urban Bicycle Ministry and helping at the Food Bank of Iowa.

Paige Fisher
Licensed Massage Therapist
My name is Paige Fisher, and I love my career as a licensed massage therapist. I left my nursing career in 2019 to pursue the ancient craft of massage therapy, and fell in love with all it has to offer. I can work with light to heavy pressure, and offer a variety of treatments. I always want you to leave my table feeling heard and cared for. Outside of my career, I am a wife and mother who enjoys music and cool weather. I am a huge animal lover, with two dogs at home– Stan and Summer. I love art, and have a home full of drawings and paintings of my own. I hope to paint some wellness, healing, and relaxation into the lives of everyone I have the opportunity to share space with.
Descriptions
Reflexology: Also known as zone therapy, reflexology uses calming stimulation through peripheral nerve pathways to communicate with the central nervous system. This is done by adding soothing massage and pressure to zones in the feet, hands, and ears. The goal of reflexology is to address, and sooth tension in the mind, and body. This treatment pairs well with energy work.
Lymphatics: Lymphatic drainage massage, or LDM, is a therapy specific to moving lymph fluid through the body. Lymph fluid can build up and form swelling in the body from injury, surgery, or having certain disorders such as lymphedema. You can expect a very light, very slow, massage done in a very specific order. There is also some rocking and pulsing of the body.
Trauma Reclaim: I am a trauma informed therapist. This is a relaxation massage that includes affirmations, energy work, pulsing, rocking, and wrapping. This treatment is to help facilitate the reconnection of body and mind.
Pain Focus: This is a neuromuscular massage with medium to deep pressure. The goal of this treatment is to focus on your hierarchy of pain, and try to find that spot that’s been bothering you most.
